Dr. Farah Naz is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the department of sociology, Government College Women’s University Sialkot. She has earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from Alpen Adria University, Klagenfurt, Austria, and a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University, The Netherlands. Dr. Naz has published her research work in journals like Globalizations, The Economic and Labour Relations Review, and Forum for Social Economics. She is also the author of two books: “Consumption and Life Style”(2019) and “Unheard Voices” (2020). Her research interests are business ethics, gender, informal economy, work, and labor relations. Her choice of research topics reflects a deliberate effort to make an innovative contribution to the field of economic sociology.
