Dr. Muhammad Umair Ashraf has been working as assistant professor of sociology at department of sociology, Government College Women University Sialkot. He received his bachelor of sociology and M.Phil in Sociology from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, He got his Ph.D in Sociology from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). Prior to this, he served as visiting faculty member at department of sociology at Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan. Dr. Umair has published in various national and international research and presented at national and international conferences. He is also reviewer of a few international refereed journals such as Journal of Public Affairs, Society and Business Review, South Asian Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities, Journal of Management and others. His research interests focus on sociology, criminology, social psychology, juvenile delinquency, parenting, peer pressure, violent behavior, religiosity, cultural values, family socio-economic status, sociology of tourism and youth development. In addition, he has expertise in data analysis such as SPSS-25, Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), AMOS, Bibliometric and G*POWER Analysis.
