e-Rozgaar Training Program is a flagship project of Youth Affairs, Sports, Archaeology and Tourism (YASAT) Department which is being executed by Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB). It was launched with an aim to train unemployed youth of the Province in digital freelancing and soft skills so they may earn an honorable and sustainable monthly income while being at their homes. The program offers a three (03) month’s free of cost training in three (03) domains each which are Content Marketing & Advertising, Graphic Designing and Technical domain. All three domains are followed by a mandatory course track of three weeks on Freelancing. The initiative focused mainly on self-employment, sustainability, foreign reserves and knowledge economy. As of August 2020, the program has successfully trained over 20,000 graduates with a 54% female participation rate. Verified reported sample earning of e-Rozgaar graduates within the program is PKR 350 million.”
