Dr. Shagufta Firdous is HEC approved supervisor. She obtained her Ph.D. degree with specialization in Urdu poetry, from University of the Punjab, Lahore. Pakistan. Major area of her research work is Urdu poetry. She started her career as assistant professor (IPFP) at Lahore College for Women University, Lahore on 20th May 2016. She joined GC Women University, Sialkot on 20th December 2016. As Assistant Professor, she has supervised 8 MS students. Currently she is supervising one PhD. and 5 MS students. She is Co-editor of HEC approved Research Journal “Tahqeeqi Jareeda”. She has published research papers in International and National journals. She has attended 20 National and International conferences and seminars where she also presented her research papers. She is also working as Director Student Affairs at GCWUS since 3rd February, 2017. She has established 20 student societies as DSA. She has also organized many National events at GCWUS.
Dr. Shagufta Firdous is also working as director student affairs (DSA) in GC Women University Sialkot.
