Dr. Saira Mansab is working as Lecturer in Department of Environmental Sciences at GC Women University Sialkot with her specialization in environmental chemistry. She started her professional career from Women University Multan as an IPFP fellow. She has been also awarded with Start-up research grant project amounting 1 million. Her research interests include the utilization of industrial waste for the production of greener coordination complexes and their use for environmental remediation, photoluminescence sensing and to apply mathematical modelling for data simulation. She has supervised the students in the field of environmental chemistry and geospatial analysis.
Dr. Mansab holds a Ph.D. degree in Environmental Sciences from Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi. She is an author of eight research articles published in impact factor journals. She was awarded six months research scholarship of International Research Supports Initiative Program for National University of Singapore. She has completed the safety orientation and instrumentation training from Singapore. She also successfully availed international travel from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) for oral presentation in Indonesia where she bestowed the best presentation award. She also participated in various national conferences and presented her research work for capacity building. She worked as a research intern at Pakistan Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology, Islamabad, and active member of SESAME program for advance research. She received international funding by International Atomic Energy Commission, Jordan and Helmholtz Centres, Germany for participation in scientist user meeting of advance instruments and Helmhildz soft X-Ray beamline workshop in Turkey, respectively. She is also an active master trainer and junior instructor in various National Faculty Development Programs and Capacity Building Programs organized by HEC.
