Career Brief:

Dr. Arfa Waseem is working as a Lecturer in Department of Mathematics, GC Women University Sialkot. She served as visiting Assistant Professor in University of Education, Lahore and University of the Punjab Lahore as well as Gujranwala Campuses. She received her PhD degree in Mathematics in December 2019, M.Phil and M.Sc in Mathematics in 2016 and 2013, respectively, and got second position in B.Sc from University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. She received merit scholarships throughout her academic career and also, went on a study tour of UK, Germany and Turkey for 1 month fully funded by Govt. of Pakistan. Her field of research is General Relativity and Cosmology. She has published seventeen research papers in well reputed international Impact factor journals. Her current research interests include the study of gravitational collapse, physical characteristics as well as stability analysis of astrophysical objects in General Relativity as well as some modified theories of gravity.
