On 5th December 2022 an event of one-day Seminar on “Fikr-i-Iqbal ki Asri Muanwaiyat” was held with the collaboration of the Director of Student Affairs, organized by Majlis-e- Iqbal Society, Art & Culture Society, and the Department of Fine Arts, GC Women University, Sialkot. And Bookstall was arranged by Iqbal Academy, Lahore.
Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen, Director of Iqbal Academy Pakistan was the chief guest of this event.
The event began with Nation Anthem, followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat.
Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen shed light on the topic of “Fikr-i-Iqbal ki Asri Muanwaiyat” and had an interactive session with students from different departments.
Further, the second part of the event was based on performing arts. Students of BS 5th Semester from the Fine Arts Department presented their performance to highlight the importance of Iqbal’s thoughts amid the era of technology and social media.
Another Mime Performance based on Iqbal’s poetry “La Phir Ik Bar Wahi” was performed by students from different departments.
Students from BS 3 rd & 7 th Semester of Fine Arts Department presented an act on the first poem of Armaghan-i-Hijaz, “Iblees ki Shura”.
A dress show on Iqbal’s Poetic Metaphors and its Inspiration for Installation was presented by Fine Arts Department, and costumes were designed by the Students of BS Textile Design 3 rd Semester.
Later the Chief Guest presented Certificates to the organizers of this event.
