Event Report of Drama Competition on “Independence/Partition”
On 18 th August 2022 an event of Drama competition was held with the
collaboration of the Director of Student Affairs, organized by the Art & Culture Society of Fine
Arts Department, and Dramatics Society of English Department, at GC Women
University, and Sialkot.
Honorable Registrar, Ms. Attiya Almas, Dr. Muhammad Afzaal Butt “ Incharge Faculty
of Social Sciences”, Dr. Zarrin Fatima Rizvi, “Incharge Faculty of Natural Sciences” and
Dr. Muhammad Ilyas “Incharge Faculty of Management Sciences” were the chief guests
of this event.
Students from physics, Urdu, Education, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science,
Fine Arts, Zoology, Economics, and English participated in this competition. They
presented their performances based on the hardships and efforts of our forefathers amid
partition.
Students of the Fine Arts Department won this competition, they presented Drama named as
“Qeemat”.
All chief guests, respected heads of other departments, and Dr. Shagufta Firdous( Director
Student Affairs) appreciated and encouraged students for future endeavors.
Certificates will be given to the winning team.
