A Three-Day training workshop on Quantitative Data Analysis Techniques was organized by the Department of English, GC Women University Sialkot for MS, and PhD Scholars of the Department. Dr. Muhammad Umair Ashraf, HoD Sociology, served as resource person and provided detailed information about using various soft wares like SPSS, SmartPLS and GPower to analyze quantitative data. Dr. Umair also guided students about developing research hypotheses, sampling techniques and sample-size determination formulas. Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz, HoD English, thanked the resource person for his time and dedication to equip scholars with necessary skills to deal with quantitative data for their research and theses. Prof. Dr. Rukhasan Kausar, Vice Chancellor GCWUS, appreciated the efforts of English Department and stressed the significance of research for growth and development of the country.
