Sialkot city is the land of export with immense business opportunities. In this regard GC Women University Sialkot and Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Islamabad has signed an MOU at December 11, 2017 in order to provide the financial literacy to the business graduates of Department of Business Administration. In this view SECP has presently organized a seminar on Financial Awareness and Financial Derivatives at December 22, 2017 in which 67 business graduates and faculty members of Department of Business Administration has participated.
This seminar has provided immense practical exposure and learning curves to students and faculty members about how they can save and invest money in different investment avenues and how SECP regulate the corporate entities. This was a first seminar out of series of seminars jointly signed by SECP Islamabad and GC Women University Sialkot. We hope that in future such type of seminars would help the students alot to learn about real business practices. Moreover, in-charge Department of Business Administration and faculty members are grateful to Worthy Vice Chancellor for her immense support and encouragement and hope that in future such initiatives would be more fruitful for students.
