Department of Business Administration in collaboration with ORIC, GC Women University Sialkot has organized a seminar to celebrate the April 10th, 2018 as Tax Day. The purpose of this seminar is to create the awareness among students and society to love their country by paying taxes. Dr. Wasim-ul-Rehman, Incharge Department of Business Administration was the key note speaker and he emphasized during the seminar that taxes are the cost of living in a civilized society that people have to pay, vital for economic development and planning. Furthermore he  highlighted that presently Tax to GDP ratio of our country is 11-12 percent which is lowest in the SAARC countries with India at 17.7 percent therefore government should need to introduce more productive structural changes in their Fiscal Policies to improve the Tax to GDP ratio.
