Students of G. C. Women University participated in Pakistan Universities Debating Companionship organized by H.E.C. The competition at the regional level was hosted at the Al Razi Hostel Punjab University Lahore in which students from 67 universities regarding Urdu and English Debates were included. It was organized in the form of a team competition, comprising three students on each team. We are extremely proud of our students: Seerat Fatima and Vaniza Ilyas, from the 5th Semester of the Department of English, and, Nimra Amanat from the 8th semester of the Zoology Department for winning the 2nd position in the English Debate competition against the students of King Edward Medical College. As well they have selected for the next national round debate competition that will be held in Islamabad. It is hoped that in the future these students of GCWUS shall participate in national debates competition and bring glory to the institution.
