A webinar titled “ “Psychological Scale Translation/ Adaptation” was successfully organized by the Department of Psychology, GC Women University Sialkot. The webinar helped students gain understanding of the standardized procedure for the translation and modification of psychological measures to meet cultural and linguistic needs.
EVENT DETAILS
The webinar was organized by the Department of Psychology on 4th March 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm at Department of Psychology, GC Women University Sialkot. Worthy Vice Chancellor, GCWUS graced the event with her presence as chief Guest of the webinar. Dr. Umara Rauf (In charge/HOD of Department of Psychology) welcomed the resource person, Dr. Bushra Akram (Associate Professor) Chairperson of Department of Psychology, University of Gujrat. Ms. Bazla Butt (student of MS Clinical Psychology) moderated the event and after giving the welcoming note to the participants, requested the resource person to initiate the webinar. The resource person conducted the webinar very effectively with her expertise and experience and provided detailed description of scale translation/adaptation and provided the pertinent knowledge in a descriptive and comprehensive manner.
Lastly, Dr. Razia Anjum, the webinar organizer concluded the session and gave thanks to the worthy Vice Chancellor, respected resource person, faculty members participants and the entire team of psychology department.
