In accordance with the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan, a ceremony took place at GC Women University Sialkot to launch KAMYAB JAWAN Program. Mr. Usman Dar (Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs), Ch. Muhammad Akhlaq (Minister for Special Education, Punjab), Mr. Malik Muhammad Ashraf Awan (President SCCI Sialkot) along with other dignitaries of Sialkot were guests at this occasion. Vice Chancellor GC Women University Sialkot, Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Kausar welcomed all the worthy guests and discussed challenges faced by Pakistani Youth especially young girls. She urged the govt to establish Psychological Counseling Centers across Pakistan particularly in Universities to enhance capacities of the Youth. Madam Vice Chancellor thanked Mr. Usman Dar for considering GC Women University Sialkot for StartUp Pakistan program. Mr. Shahzad Gull (Program Coordinator KAMYAB JAWAN Startup Program) introduced the program and gave a briefing about various stages of the program. Mr. Hassan Syed gave a detailed briefing on technical aspects of the program. Mr. Arslan discussed the role of Microsoft in KAMYAB JAWAN program and ensured all kind of support to StartUp Pakistan team. Ch. Muhammad Akhlaq (Minister for Special Education, Punjab) highlighted the role of youth in the development of the country and urged the young girls to actively participate in bringing a positive change in the political structure of Pakistan. Chief Guest, Mr. Usman Dar (Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs) provided details of KAMYAB JAWAN Program and shared the vision of Prime Minister to boost small businesses in Pakistan. He highlighted the role of entrepreneurship for uplifting of the country and emphasized that the girls from Sialkot should play their role alongside men to change the plight of this country.
