A 5-day workshop with the title “Faculty Development Workshop on Research Methods” was organized for different departments of Social Sciences in Video Conference Room (Admin Block) from 02-08-2022 to 05-08-2022 to equip and enhance the research capabilities of faculty members. Dr. Aysha Khalil conducted her first training session “Digital Tools for Data Collection (Quantitative and Qualitative) on 03-08-2022 (Wednesday). The objective of this training session was to develop awareness and competencies in faculty members regarding innovative digital tools and techniques used for research data collection to revolutionize the research process in the age of digitization.
On the third day of the workshop i.e. 04-08-2022 (Thursday), Dr. Aysha Khalil conducted her second training session “Qualitative Data Analysis by using Software Nvivo/Atlas.ti”. The main objective of this session was to strengthen the qualitative research capabilities of faculty members by equipping them with sufficient knowledge and skills to utilize two software Nvivo and Atlas. ti to analyze qualitative data. On the same day (04-08-2022) Miss Sobia Younas conducted a training session “Qualitative Data Analysis (Thematic, Discourse and Content Analysis)”. The objective of this training session was to familiarize the faculty members with different types and techniques for analyzing qualitative data of research.
