[Event Recap] Entrepreneurial Gala and Entrepreneurship as Viable Career Option Training
We are thrilled to share the wonderful highlights from the highly successful Entrepreneurial Gala and Entrepreneurship as Viable Career Option Training, held on December 11, 2023. The event was organized by the Department of Business Administration at GC Women University Sialkot, Pakistan.
Under the guidance of Ms. Rabia from the Business Department and the experienced trainer Mr. Naseer and Mr Ali Mehtab, students put their entrepreneurial skills to the test by preparing and showcasing their remarkable projects. These young minds demonstrated incredible creativity and innovation!
We were honored to have representatives from SMEDA (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority) conducting a training session, providing valuable insights and knowledge to our aspiring entrepreneurs.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of our Guest of Honor, Madam Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syeda Zarrin Fatima Rizvi. She was warmly received and welcomed by Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, Dean of the Department of Management and Administrative Sciences, Prof. Dr. Yasir Nawaz Manj, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Dr. Yasin Munir, Chairperson of the Department of Business Administration, and esteemed faculty members including Dr. Syed Waqar Rizvi, Dr. Mobeen Shafqat, Ms. Tajali Fatima, Ms. Hafsa, Ms. Sana Inam, Ms. Sana Azeem, Ms. Attiya, Ms. Rabia, Ms. Qandeel, and Ms. Arfa.
Madam Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syeda Zarrin Fatima Rizvi, along with other speakers, emphasized the significance of entrepreneurship for women and commended the efforts of the Business Department in nurturing valuable projects. She praised the level of training and education provided by the department, setting a remarkable benchmark for future entrepreneurs.
To honor their exceptional contributions, Madam VC presented awards and shields to the Deans, Chairperson, and trainer, recognizing their dedication and commitment to fostering entrepreneurship.
