One Day Post Graduate Students Conference on Improving education through Research held on 16th May,2018 at Education Department, University of Punjab Lahore. The conference addresses the theme of special education, educational psychology, ICT, Leadership and Teaching, quality Education and Higher Education along with different sub-themes. By the grace of Allah Almighty, 19students from sociology department presented their papers on different themes of research and education. It’s an occasion of immense pleasure for Government College Women University Sialkot as well as for the Department of Sociology as the presentations from GCWUS students were highly admired and appreciated by all delegates. The vice Chancellor of University of Punjab Prof. Dr. Nasira Jabeen specially mentioned and appreciated GC Women University students as an example for all in her address at Inaugural Ceremony. Mover over our students had an informal discussion session with delegates. The conference was a valuable learning experience for all of them and provided a platform to interact with experts and professionals.
