Business Exhibition

It is the long tradition of Economics Department of GCWU, Sialkot to organize   various curricular and co-curricular activities to broaden the vision of the students. The Department organized “Business Exhibition” in corridor of economics department .The main objective of Exhibition was the learning of students to determine how they present their self as a business on a trade show and whom they target. These factors, amongst others, influence the design, interior and development of the stand design.

• Created awareness and develop relationship with new prospects for students.
• Provided product demonstrations to students.
• Determined the needs of customers.
• Gathered competitive intelligence.
• Platform to introduce a product.
• Learn how to deal with service and other customer problems.
• A place to make a good sale.

Exhibition stared formally at 11:00am in the economics department corridor that was decorated with different business stalls that were as follows

Rainbow paint house – Handmade Bangles, paint on glass
Joyfide –  Handmade Gift packs (boxes and baskets)

Chairperson of Economics Department Dr. Hafiz Khalil Ahmed, Director of Research Dr. Muhammad Ilyas & Worthy Judges (Assistant Professor Dr. Sadia, Assistant Professor Mrs. Lubna Tabassum and Lecturer Mrs.Uzma Raiz) and other department teachers visited the stalls. They highly appreciated the students for their business ideas & spirit to involve in business.
Chairperson of Economics Department Dr. Hafiz Khalil Ahmed distributed the prizes among winning students. It held on 19-12-2019 The Event was organized by lecturer Syeda Tusaied Zahra.
