Wajiha Sarfraz joined GC Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) as Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Botany in October 2020, later as a Permanent lecturer (BPS-18) from March 2022. Previously, she served the University of Central Punjab, Sialkot Campus, for three semesters in the Department of Botany.
She has done her MS in Botany from GCUWS. She is active in research and the youngest lecturer in the Department of Botany, GCWUS. Her field of specialization is Plant Ecology. Her main research interests are the phytotoxicity of metals, plant-soil interactions, phytoremediation, climate change, and environmental contaminants.
