I am a lecturer at Department of English, Govt. College Women University, Sialkot. I received my MPhil degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Management and Technology. I hold a BS Degree in English Literature from University of Gujrat. My research and teaching interests include sociolinguistics, applied linguistics, communication skills and translation studies. My MPhil dissertation was about finding deforming tendencies of the translated texts. I have presented research papers in various international conferences and I have been a certified participant of HEC workshops conducted on “English for academic purposes”.
I have a diverse teaching experience of more than six ears, both as a regular as well as visiting faculty member, being affiliated with Govt. College Women University Sialkot, University of Management and Technology and University of Sialkot. I have also worked as an English language instructor and conducted short English speaking courses at English Language Club, Sialkot. Along with teaching, I have been managing students’ affairs and scholarship programs at GCWUS.
