With the excellent academic background— throughout first division in my academic career— I have always been fortunate to get various professional duties, and with the blessings of Allah have always been able to perform them in the best possible way. By the grace of God Almighty, we earned a great name for our homeland by contributing there both academically and administratively in different capacities. Following are the highlights of my professional career spanning for almost twenty years—1998-2018:

To begin with, I was offered the job as Lecturer (contract) by the administration National Institute of Modern Languages, Islamabad on the basis of my good performance during MA English course and I started my professional career right after the completion of MA in 1998. I started my regular government job after short listing and an exhaustive interview by Punjab Public Service Commission in May 1999. I was posted near my residence in Govt. College for Women, Murree Road, Rawalpindi because, as I was given the chance by Punjab Govt. to choose the station of my posting as I was among the first ten selectees among more than 100 selected lecturers in Punjab Government. In August 2002, I joined National University of Modern Languages after being relieved by the Secretary Education, Government of Punjab, and got a chance to teach almost all subjects related to English Linguistics and Literature to MA students as well as different language courses to foreign nationals (especially Saudi and Chinese nationals) and practicing English language teachers in government institutions (Federal Government and KRL education department). I also got an opportunity to serve as the coordinator for the evening classes and summer courses. In September 2005, I was selected and promoted to Assistant Professor which started a new era of professional growth for me. I served as department coordinator for both morning and evening programs. I attended 9th in-service University and Degree Awarding Institutions’ Teachers Faculty Professional Development Program. After the scrutiny of the trainees from all sessions, HEC selected almost 20 to train as Master Trainer and I was among those 20. Thus, I attended Advanced Faculty Professional Development Program: Ensuring Training Effectiveness from March 6 to 25, 2011 at the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Moreover, apart from many other administrative duties like superintendent examination, member admission committee, judge for speech and debate competitions, I got an opportunity to teach and train in many faculty professional development programs like PTEPDP (Pakistan Teacher Education and Professional Development Programme) organized by USAID in collaboration with AED (Academy for Education Development); Testing and Evaluation Workshop at Government College for Women, Kashmir Road, Rawalpindi organized by Higher Education Commission. In addition, I worked as the Department coordinator for QAC (Quality Assurance Cell) for which I also got an appreciation letter from the department head.
In December 2011, my husband and I joined Qassim University, KSA. We spent almost 7 years there. We were acknowledged for higher qualification and competence and made a part of the English Language Research Team. I have got 9 publications in national and international journals. Moreover, I have also received two very important and advanced trainings: IELTS Teacher Training Workshop, organized by British Council, KSA, and a workshop about Blackboard usage.
