A One Day seminar on ‘Recent trends in Fisheries and Aquaculture with a Walk and Models competition on “World Fisheries Day” was organized by the Department of Zoology, on December 30, November 2022. The guest speaker of the seminar is Mrs. Azeem Begum, Deputy Director of Fisheries Gujranwala Division. Dr. Moazama Batool, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Zoology, served as coordinator while, Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Kousar, Vice Chancellor, GC Women University, Sialkot was the Chief Guest of said program. The event started at 10.00 am with a walk, starting from the front of the Department of Zoology. The respected Chairperson, faculty members, and students of the zoology department joined the walk. The walk was headed to the admin block, progressing to the other departments of the university, and ended in front of the Auditorium.
