A One Day Seminar on ‘Thallasemia’ was organized by the Zoological Society in Collaboration with Blood Donor and Health Society and DSA at GCWUS on December 14, 2022. The guest speaker of the seminar was Mr Talal Anwar, General Secretary, Eastern Punjab Region, JZT and Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Kousar, Vice Chancellor, GC Women University, Sialkot was the Chief Guest of said program. The enormous number of students and faculty members of department of Zoology attend this seminar. The Seminar was started at 11.00am by the recitation of some verses from Holy Quran. Dr. Sajida Mushtaq introduced the guest speaker. After it Mr Talal Anwar delivered a comprehensive lecture on Thallasemia and its effects and how we help thalassemia patients.
