I am delighted to welcome you to the Intermediate Section, Govt. College Women University, Sialkot situated in the city of Iqbal. This institution was established as a college in 1951 and upgraded to university in 2013. The intermediate section is located in Old Block, a building with an inspiring architecture, state of the art facilities and a fascinating grassy lawn in front of it with its calmative effects. We strongly believe in a merit-based system and justifiably proud of our academic performance as education means much more than the pursuit of top grades. Our journey of 70 years is a reflection of our passion towards creating better future of students. We offer a number of exciting study programs, FSc, FA, I.Com and ICS. I believe that our teachers, students, and support staff are among the very best. We provide a very conducive and rich learning environment where all teachers are working tirelessly with devotion to avail every opportunity to impart knowledge. In the coming years, greater emphasis will be placed at all levels to build up our students’ capacity beyond just the academic areas. Leadership, discipline, and organizational skills will feature strongly in their co-curricular education. We plan and hope to make intermediate section a centre of excellence in all aspects.
