The event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat e Rasool e Maqbool (SAW). Opening remarks were presented by Dr. Sajida from the Department of Zoology.

Dr.Maira Dastagir has tremendously elaborated the breast cancer, Diagnostic criteria, etiology, 5 minutes self-examination method, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer along with its types. Ms.Fareeha Faisal (Focal person from SKMH & RC) took the pledge from the audience that “all of us will spare 5 minutes of self-examination and will also generate awareness about the deadly disease with every woman in our surroundings”. Dr.Zarrin Fatima Rizvi (Dean/Incharge Natural Sciences, GCWUS) Summed up the seminar by presenting a vote of thanks to the Chief guest, Guest Speaker, Audience, and organizers of the seminar.
Souvenirs were presented to the Guest Speaker by the Chief Guest, Honorable Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Kausar (Vice Chancellor, GCWUS).
