A seminar entitled ‘Recent Trends of Research in Medicinal Plants’ was organized by the Department of Botany on 17th April, 2017. Dr. Mehmooda Munazir, Assistant Professor, GCWUS delivered the seminar. She emphasized the need of research in medicinal plants in order to save humanity of various life threatening diseases. Head of Department, Prof. Mrs. Khadija-Tul-Kubra, Dr. Zahid Ali Butt and Director ORIC, Dr. Zarrin Fatima Rizvi delivered their comments. A huge number of students (around 450) attended the event. The certificates were distributed among organizers.
