In addition to other extracurricular & co-curricular activities, the university took a unique initiative through an MOU with Rescue 1122 Sialkot signed by the Vice Chancellor Madam Prof. Dr. Farhat Saleemi & DEO 1122 Syed Kamal Abid on 20-04-2016. Under this MOU, 1509 students and 50 faculty members have been trained on “CADRE” (Community Action for Disaster Response) this course include basic Life Support, First Aid, Fire Safety and awareness about has to act as community first responder in Emergencies & Disaster. Trained students have been organized in 192 (CERT) Teams, under leadership of their faculty members and over all command of Madam Raheela Sohail HOD Math.
The trained students being part of Rescue Warden Service, Rescue 1122 Sialkot have been offering their services in Mock Exercises, Muharram ul Harram procession and other type of incidents / programs.
