An online lecture on “Thesis Writing and Viva Voce What Would Delight Examiners-A guide for Students and Young Academics” was organized by Istakshaf Chemical Society (ICS) of Chemistry Department on 18th November 2021 at 1.00 pm. The guest speaker was Prof. Dr. Hadariah Bahron who is an active researcher recently working at Faculty of Applied Sciences “Universiti Teknologi MARA” (UiTM), Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Dr. Tayyaba Shahzadi and Dr. H. M. Abd Ur Rahman welcomed the guest speaker and moderated the online lecture.
In her talk Prof. Dr. Hadariah Bahron discussed the various parameters that can significantly impact the PhD thesis writing procedure. She has highlighted different factors that can play important role in successful defense of PhD Viva Voce both from the aspects of student and supervisor.
Incharge of Department, Dr. Tayyaba Shahzadi, thanked the guest speaker on behalf of Department of Chemistry. At the end of the session worthy vice chancellor, Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Kausar appreciated the guest speaker and thanked her for accepting her invitation to deliver an informative talk to the faculty members and students of GCWUS. She also motivated the students to become active researchers and innovators.
