Kashmir Day is celebrated on 5th February every year in Pakistan. It focuses on showing Pakistan’s support and unity with the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir, their ongoing freedom struggle, and to pay homage to Kashmiri martyrs who lost their lives fighting for the freedom of Kashmir. On 2nd Feb 2022 Kashmir day event was held in Government College Women University Sialkot to show solidarity with Kashmiri brothers and sisters. This event was organized by Department of Political Science, Department of Urdu and Fabian Society. Many Faculty members and students attended the program. Purpose of the event was to raise voice against brutal lockdown of Jammu & Kashmir since August 5, 2019 and resolution of Kashmir issue and record our protest in UN. A large number of students and university teachers from different Departments participated in the event.
