Celebrations of Pakistan’s Independence Day “75th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee)” being held at GC Women University, Sialkot added zeal and zest through Debate competition organized by Dr.Shaufta Firdous Director Student Affairs on 12th August 2022. This event was held at university auditorium to honor and pay tribute in the form of Debate which topic is خون دل دے کے نکھاریں گے رخ برگ گلابwith heartfelt enthusiasm.
To grace this event our respectable guests Dr. M. Afzal Butt (Incharge Dean of faculty of Arts & Social Sciences joined to show solidarity for our beloved country. Likewise, to bring forth a healthy competition our honorable judges Dr.Sabina Awais (Assistant Professor of Urdu Department ), Dr. Tahir Abas Tayyab (Assistant Professor of Urdu Department ) and, Dr. M Nasrullah (Urdu Department ) shared their humble expertise which was a great initiative to encourage students for taking part in such competitions.
And then Result was announced by the incharge of Urdu Debating Society Miss Uzma Noreen.All students, faculty members and administrative staff equally enjoyed debates which also promoted togetherness. Through fair selection and mutual consent of our judges’ certificates were distributed among position holders; Hafsa Imran securing first position, Momna Saher securing second position and Sara Iqbal secured third position in this competition. It inculcated positivity with great happiness with moments of gratitude being a proud Pakistani over the years of immense hardships still standing tall stronger as always. This event was a true depiction of solidarity, patriotism, talent, and a passion for presenting our country Pakistan the bearer of peace.
