The workshop was organized by the Department of Psychology. This was a one-day workshop held on August 12th 2022, from 10 am to 2 pm in Video conference room, GC Women University Sialkot. Dr. Umara Rauf (The Incharge/HOD) welcomed the resource person, Dr. Tanveer Nasr. The resource person conducted the workshop very effectively with her expertise and provided detailed and pertinent knowledge in a descriptive and comprehensive manner. Dr. Tanveer provided a structured approach to case formulation for clients with various symptoms. Real-life examples were used to illustrate the various steps involved and show how differences in approach to case formulation influence treatment decisions. This was followed by a more practical discussion of what information to include in a formulation for clients with disorders, the process of collaborating, generating, and sharing formulations through assessment and therapy and how to use formulations to determine treatment techniques. This gave the students an opportunity to ask questions related to their cases and gain deeper insight into the entire case report writing process and their therapeutic approaches.
Honorable Registrar, Ms. Attia Almas, graced the event and presented certificate to the resource person. Mr. Ijaz Ahmad, Director Quality Enhancement Cell, also joined the workshop.Lastly, Dr. Umara Rauf (The Incharge/HOD) concluded the workshop and gave vote of thanks to the honorable guests, respected resource person, faculty members, participants and the entire team of psychology department.
